There are three categories in the "Love Where You Live" Photography Competition 2012:
Category 1: This category is for photographers under 18 years of age on the closing date of the competition.
Category 2 : This category is for adult photographers (i.e. entrants over 18 years of age on the closing date of the competition).
Category 3 : This category is for schools; entries in this category should be made in the form of a collage of pupils photos. Entries to the schools category should be emailed to nsc@antaisce.org or alternatively posted along with your schools details to: Love Where You Live Competition, An Taisce Education, 5a Swifts Alley, Francis Street, Dublin 8.
A total Prize fund of €2,250 will be awarded to the best pictures in three categories:
1. The winner of the adult’s category will receive a cheque for €500.
2. The winner in the under 18’s category will receive a cheque for €500.
3. The winner in the Schools’ category will receive a cheque for €500
4. The runner-up from each of the three categories will receive a cheque for €250
5. Winning entrants from categories 1 and 2 will have their entries printed and mounted on aluminium.
